General Description

Investigate, analyze and refer the pending claims or incident reports to the insurance company and ensure that they are adequately processed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive, register and report claims and incident reports to the insurance company
  • Investigate, analyze and report claims and incidents to the insurance company.
  • Review and complete tasks assigned in Image Right.
  • Review and analyze insurance policies.
  • Prepare Coverage Certifications.
  • Send the Notice of Loss, Coverage Certification and other documents required by the insurance company or the agency.
  • Register claims in AMS360.
  • Keep track on claims in insurance companies.
  • Update the status of claims in AMS360 consistently.
  • Document in Image Right and update the assigned task to the claim consistently.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

Experience

At least two years of experience managing insurance claims

  • Analyze situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organization.
  • Set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals, and track details/data/information/activities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, both in English and Spanish.
  • Work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problem, and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Advanced domain of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
