General Description

Perform the processing of endorsements, renewals, cancellations, quotes, and policy assembly. Maintain communication with third party service providers such as: Insurances Company, lawyers, producers and bank officers, within others.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare, review, file and update records or documents. Keep track of received data and source documents. Advise customers about policy expiration dates or any other change in policy, property or equipment affecting insurance coverage. Receive and apply policies expiration date of premiums and commissions. Review original information to make sure cancellation is required. Cancel policies and issue cancellations notices. Reconcile payments with policies billed and perform collection efforts for outstanding balances. Manage customer’s service requests and serve as a liaison with insurance companies. Receive and process claims. Compile data and prepare reports for other organizational units and/or third party providers. Refer risk-involved matters that are beyond assigned authority to underwriters.


+ 60 Bachelor's degree credits approved


At least two years of administrative work experience.

  • Set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals, and track details/data/information/activities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, both in English and Spanish.
  • Work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problem, and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Advanced domain of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
