Job Type

This is a Full Time Opportunity. 

General Description

Assist in the management of Bank’s and Bank holding companies investment portfolios. Administer Bank and Bank Holding companies daily funding activities including interaction with the capital markets. Assist other areas of Treasury with quantitative analysis related to investments and balance sheet management. Provide support to other business lines for their loan and deposit product pricing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor closely Corporation’s daily liquidity and execute funding strategies accordingly, such as: Coordinate brokered deposit issuance with approved dealers, manage daily repo book activity, execute advances with Federal Home Loan bank, provide liquidity analysis to Bank subsidiaries and  finance their funding needs, assist in Corporate client CD pricing, structure and exception approvals.
  • Participate in the purchase/sell execution of securities according to ALCO directives.
  • Support the derivative portfolio mark to market, execution, audit confirmation and maintenance duties.
  • Assist in the automation as well as the maintenance of the automated process for risks monitoring, cost of funds calculations, Budget and Forecast Projections, Rate Model, FTP calculations, portfolio analysis and cash flow projections with the use of Python Programing Language.
  • Assist other areas of Treasury with quantitative analysis related to investments and balance sheet management.
  • Contribute in the preparation of financial reports, corporate strategic projects, securities analysis and portfolio risk measurement.
  • These tasks will include but not be limited to: ALCO committee reports and presentations, securities impairment analysis, monthly forecasts preparation for Banks and Holding companies, holding companies investment portfolio performance measurement, mortgage back securities duration/yield analysis monthly model runs, and U.S. Economic data research.  

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This Job has no supervisory responsibilities but must work with other units within Treasury and outside the division.

Education

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Math or Engineering from a four-year college or university.

Experience

1 year of related experience.
