General Description

Support Corporate Banking Commercial Relationship Officers (Deposits and Services) in the achievement of business goals and customer service in the commercial private sector.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work day to day with Relationship Officers with new and existing customers by increasing the sale of products and services for collection.
  • Address the banking needs of the finance and treasury areas of corporate clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Relationship Officers in the preparation of proposals to quote services and sometimes make presentations to clients.
  • Coordinate in the sing and implementation of new services and prepare monthly production reports.

Education

Bachelor's degree completed from an accredited university or college.

Experience

Two years of experience in banking.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's)

  •  Knowledge in commercial services products, sale, implementation, and operation is preferrable.
  • Excellent organizational skills to establish priorities, work with multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to analyze, identify the needs of the client and offer service alternatives to achieve the desired results.
  • Excellent interpersonal relationships and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of the cash management products and services offered by Popular and how they compare these with those offered by the competition, such as: commercial accounts, collections services, payment services, information services, etc. preferrable not required.
  • Proficiency in communication skills, in English and Spanish both verbally and in writing.
  • General knowledge of the laws, regulations, state and federal regulations that govern banking.
  • Skills to make effective presentations to internal and external groups (clients).
  • Proficiency in information systems skills that must include operational knowledge in Microsoft Office programs such as: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and Administrative System
