Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
General Description
Provides business office clerical assistance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the review process for mortgage collateral and related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with guidelines and agreements from GNMA, FNMA, Freddie Mac, FHLB, and private investors.
- Maintain and update documentation tracking systems.
- Generate reports in accordance with applicable regulations and agreements.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in mortgages, post-closing, or the secondary market (preferred).
Other Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of mortgage processes.
- General understanding of financial instruments in the mortgage industry.
- Familiarity with GNMA, FNMA, and Freddie Mac regulations.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, and adapt to change.
- Ability to identify unit needs, propose solutions, and resolve issues promptly and accurately.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish, both oral and written.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Physical ability to retrieve documents from high shelves in a vault facility and transport files as needed.
