General Description

Provide operational and technical support in the installation and maintenance of mechanized system and computer applications to internal and external customers by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Install P.O.S. terminal and provide technical assistance to assigned merchants.
  • Review and process merchant’s applications for card services/payments, including American Express and Discover cards applications.  
  • Assist customers with request for receipt of credit card transaction. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve processing issue with P.O.S. terminals that process the American Express and Discover product. 
  • Ensure that the inventory of P.O.S. terminals is maintained at the required level. 
  • Package damaged P.O.S. terminals for shipment to repair facility.
  • Maintain data in various applications required to establish service to merchants. (Base 24, TNMS, Vision Plus, and GPS).  
  • Submit weekly report of the merchant that were visited.  

Minimum Education

24-60 Bachelor's dregree credits approved in Business Administration

Technical and Commercial Course

Computer Skills:

Knowledge of one or more of the following softwares: Word Processing, Presentations, Spreadsheet, Internet, Internal Business softwares, other related software.

Exhibits one or more of the following: 

Knowledge of company programming procedures and programming language; Ability to process computer data and to format and generate reports; Ability to implement and troubleshoot programming changes and modifications; Knowledge of computer flow charts and of programming logic and codes; Ability to write technical instructions in the use of programs and/or program modifications; Ability to learn and support new systems and applications.

 

Technology:

Knowledge of one or more of the following:

Knowledge of maintenance, reparation and troubleshooting of desktop hardware and software packages, to provide the quality in customer service: Ability to learn and support new systems and applications.
