Projects Coordinator

General Description

Successfully leads all aspects of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within established time frame and funding parameters.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Reviews project proposal or plan to establish time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allocation of available resources to various phases of project.  Establishes work plan and budget for each phase of project.  Discusses with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.  Also provides technical/specialized advice to solve problems. Leads and coordinates activities of team members to ensure project progress on schedule and within prescribed budget. Identify any possible risk to prevent delay on the due dates of the projects. Reviews status reports prepared by team members. Modifies schedules or plans objectives as needed. Prepares project reports for management and client, and negotiates changes in budget and timeframe. Accountable for project results.

This job may have supervisory responsibilities or may lead the work of others.

Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration
Experience

At least two to five years of related experience.
