General Description

Responsible for the overall management and operation of support or business unit to develop, manage, promote, and integrate all aspects of the assigned area to meet both client needs and organization objectives.  Provide direction and guidelines to employees. Budgetary/financial oversight.

The Manager of the BVI Administration is a senior level management role responsible for oversight of the retail operations, corporate facilities, regulatory compliance, customer service & complaint management workstream and legal matters.   The position reports directly to the VI Region Division Manager and works collaboratively with the managers of the retail, commercial and mortgage business lines.  The Manager will also collaborate with the Corporate Real Estate Division to manage BPPR owner occupied, leased and rented properties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate and manage strategic goals by defining objectives; evaluating outcomes, trends and options. Establish initiatives to promote cost efficiency and improve services and productivity.  Continuously revise and update internal processes, measurements, programs, and policies to improve expected outcomes.  Responsible for planning and maintaining work systems, procedures, and policies that enable and encourage the optimum performance of its people.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.  Coach and develop employees.  Foster a spirit of teamwork allows for disagreement over ideas as well as diversity.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration

Experience

 

  • Six years experience in a managerial role within the financial services industry within the BVI.
  • Knowledge of the regulatory reporting requirements in the financial services within the BVI.
  • Effective communication, multi-tasking, project management and organizational skills.
  • Confident decision making, strategic planning, and budget management.
  • Resourceful and able to foster a strong network of business partners, contractors and government agencies.

Certifications / Licenses

Some certificates and licenses may be required for several managerial positions.
