Education

General Description

General Description

We are currently seeking a junior HEALTHCARE COMMERCIAL RELATIONSHIP OFFICER to join our National Healthcare Commercial Banking team. In this position you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of credit and non-credit relationships with commercial customers, corporate accounts and potential customers while rendering quality service in accordance with bank goals to attain growth, profitability and customer satisfaction.

In this position, you will:

Work collaboratively with the existing team to perform annual reviews, portfolio management, modification memo’s, trend analysis of portfolio and overall general support of the group.
Research and create white papers on new lending segments and geographical areas of North America which will support the unit’s continued growth and profitability.
Manage customer relationships within the portfolio, as well as, developing the portfolio through increasing span of current relationships and searching new business through referrals and COI’s.

Build effective relationships within the Bank to work collaboratively with different divisions to achieve various goals.
Adhere to general bank regulatory procedures including BSA/AML as it pertains to “know your customer.”
Pro-actively seek information from clients and prospective clients to understand possible changing situations, needs and desired benefits and evaluate product or service alternatives.
Establish and maintain thorough prospect file, review and access on a scheduled basis to present new products, services, rate promotions, campaigns, etc.
Apply newly gained knowledge, skill or technique to current work and share successes with other team members.
Keep updated on changes to banking environment, bank competition and customer's business environment.

To be considered, you will need:

Ability successfully complete and pass outside credit training.
Minimum two-year commitment to the Bank post-graduation of credit training.
Ability to research and analyze financial statements.
Complete knowledge of all commercial bank laws, bank products, services, policies and procedures as well as cost accounting, financial and statistical analysis, principles of commercial and consumer credit.
Ability to use various interpersonal styles and communication methods, depending on customer and situation, to gain their acceptance of a product or service.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently and within established timeframes.
Computer literate; fluency in Microsoft Office programs, Excel analysis required

We are currently looking for a seasoned Middle Market COMMERCIAL LENDER to join our Commercial Middle Market Banking team. Work with counsel to negotiate Loan Documents.

Bachelor Degree required

Coordinate closings with Borrower’s attorney and Bank’s counsel.
Funding: Review loan documentation and prepare boarding package to ensure that all required documentation is signed and included.
Funding: Ensure the accuracy of wire instructions, obtain insurance certificates, verify holds, verify deposit account openings, obtain proof of UCC filing, and obtain any other documents as required.
Post-Closing: Complete closing checklist, send Welcome Letter, and ensure all post-closing ticklers are updated in a timely manner.
Maintain a specialized knowledge of the documentation department’s function, terminology, policies and procedures, and related laws and regulations at the local, state, and federal levels.

Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support departmental operations.

Responsible for administering Credit Bureau Agencies matters and procedures, concentrating on monitoring furnishing processes, analyzing and ensuring solutions of reporting issues.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.

Experience

Three (3+) years of experience working in credit products or other related areas.

An ability to conduct analysis of work procedures and business results and recommend changes to improve the effectiveness of the business' management.
Strong technical acumen: knowledge of banking products, services, policies, procedures, and regulations. Knowledgeable of applicable laws and regulations (e.g. FDIC, CFPB, OCIF), and/or demonstrated capacity to gain an understanding of all relevant details in regulatory framework that impacts the operation. Robust knowledge of applicable local and federal laws, regulations, and guidelines.
Communication skills: effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to foster trusting relationships with colleagues and clients. Highly develop written and verbal communications skills in English. Presents numerical data effectively. Superior communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent report-writing and presentation skills. Polished in preparing presentations, executive summaries, and business reports in English for executive audiences.
Analytical skills: Stays focused on main issues, prevents irrelevant issues or distractions from interfering with timely completion of assignments. Collects, research and complements data; Synthesizes complex or diverse information. Demonstrates attention to detail; Applies design principles; Generate creative solutions. Strong quantitative, research and analytical skills. Experience with data analysis, persuasive and informative writing, workload management, and process management.
Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Develops alternative solutions.
Project Management: Ability to prioritize and work with multiple projects and tasks with minimum supervision; self-direct and task switch between strategic and tactical initiatives regularly. Capacity to achieve results according to plan ensuring the expected quality. Excellent organization capacity to define priorities, meet deadlines, and flexible to change. Knowledge of project coordination, identification of business needs, work plan, budget control, time management, resource allocation, team management and status reports. Must demonstrate leadership, logic, and reasoning skills. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum or Kanban.
Operational/Regulations Processes: Knowledge of budget administration, resources allocation, organization’s policies, and regulations. Ability to establish, conduct and track operational processes properly.
Computer and Technological Skills: Proficient in MSO 365. Experience with tracking and project management tools such as: JIRA; proficient in PowerApps and data visualization and design tools such as: Power BI, among others, is desired. Ability to achieve results by providing innovative ways of working with operational and technological considerations.
