Operations Analyst
Business Operations Mgmt.
We are currently searching for an Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team! The Operations Analyst performs day-to-day back-office operational processes that support retail and commercial banking, mortgage, insurance, and securities. The role also reviews data, monitors SLAs, and identifies trends to support risk mitigation and process efficiency.
In this position, you will:
Process Review and SLA Monitoring
- Support monitor SLAs across designated departments and escalate non-compliance when identified.
- Support departmental processes review to identify opportunities for efficiency and improvement.
Data Review, Analysis, and Risk Identification
- Identify trends, recurring issues, anomalies, and operational risks.
- May conduct trend analysis including pattern detection in fraud-related claims.
- Escalate findings to leadership.
Reporting, Tracking Tools, and Visualization
- Run reports and monitor dashboards to clean up data, enhancing operational visibility
- Collaborate with other teams when specialized reporting support is needed.
- Prepare presentation materials in slide or dashboard format (PowerPoint, dashboards).
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
To be considered, you will need:

Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum of 2 years of related operational or analytical experience.

Knowledge of one or more of the following software’s: Word Processing, Presentations, Spreadsheet, Internet, Internal Business software’s, other related software.

Knowledge of administrative/ office procedures and systems such as word processing, file and record management, transcription, form design, and other office procedures. Also have knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personnel services.

Able to demonstrates attention to detail; Applies design principles; Generate creative solutions

Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Develops alternative solutions
Base Salary & Benefits
Our base salary for this position located in New York generally ranges between $45,000.00 and $45,000.00 annually, depending on business need and on your qualifications and experience. Base salary does not include incentive compensation, commission, or any other type of remuneration or benefits.
In addition to salary, Popular's well-rounded benefits package for regular full-time and part-time employees includes a comprehensive health plan, flexible time off options, and savings and investment plans. Seasonal/temporary employees are not eligible for these benefits.
