Sr Manager

Insights, Product and Marketing

Reporting to the SVP of Retail, Product, and Marketing solutions, you will lead an integrated function comprised of the Voice of Customer, Research, Analytics, and Marketing teams. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop data-driven insights that will inform strategy across the Bank, as well as shape cohesive marketing campaigns for consumer and commercial prospects and customers. 

In this position, you will:

Analytics

  • Oversee the Bank’s Analytics function, which has broad responsibilities for customer- and product-level analytics; maintenance and development of the C360, which is the Bank’s primary data warehouse; as well as managing Salesforce business requirements and leading various Salesforce initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison between Analytics team and stakeholders across the Bank as well as corporate partners, representing the Analytics function at the senior leadership level and ensuring alignment between business needs and Analytics deliverables.
  • Ensure development roadmap of the C360 addresses emerging and future business needs and adheres to budget as well as all corporate standards
  • Oversee Analytics team’s maintenance and development of business intelligence tools and reports, ensuring accuracy as well as strategic value of deliverables, with a particular focus on customer- and product-level analytics.
  • Maintain prioritized business backlog for Salesforce development, ensuring business needs are captured and synced with technology group roadmap.
  • Act as organizational lead for various corporate programs that are grounded in Analytics capabilities, such as relationship management.
  • Ensure accurate measurement of Marketing campaign effectiveness.
  • Lead other analytics programs as needed.

VOC and Research Programs

  • Lead analysts and research professionals in management of research programs, including: NPS research across all lines of business; brand tracking; marketing and competitive research; product research; ad hoc research as needed.
  • Manage complaints program, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements as well as ongoing monitoring and issue escalation.
  • Act as a key liaison with senior stakeholders across the Bank, ensuring insights from research as well as complaints program are synthesized and proactively shared across all lines of business to inform and guide business strategy.

Marketing

  • Oversee the Marketing function, a team of about 10 marketing professionals, ensuring Marketing campaign strategy aligns with business needs and product roadmaps.
  • Ensure Marketing is supporting the achievement of Bank- and business-level goals, including those related to deposit gathering, customer acquisition and retention, deepening of relationships with customers, etc.
  • Provide direction and oversight to the function, acting when needed as a liaison between Marketing and various business units across the Bank and representing Marketing at the senior leadership level.
  • Ensure that Marketing campaigns are executed in a timely manner and in compliance with all applicable regulations, budgets, and corporate policies.
  • Other responsibilities as required.

To be considered, you will need:

    • A minimum of 10 years in a leadership role within Analytics, Research, or Marketing in a financial services organization, preferably banking
    • Proven success leading multidisciplinary teams, with the demonstrated ability to leverage disparate expertise from across a spectrum of skills and backgrounds
    • Curiosity, agility, and grit: the ability and interest to flex among different disciplines
    • Extremely strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
    • Success developing insights and business reporting that meaningfully improve business strategy and outcomes
    • Experience with data visualization / BI tools, especially Tableau and PowerBI
    • Substantial experience guiding business requirements in the development of Salesforce or other CRM platforms
    • Experience leading marketing campaigns or guiding marketing strategy a big plus

Base Salary & Benefits

Our base salary for this position located in New York City generally ranges between  $250,000.00 and $275,000.00  annually, depending on business need and on your qualifications and experience. Base salary does not include incentive compensation, commission, or any other type of remuneration or benefits.

In addition to salary, Popular's well-rounded benefits package for regular full-time and part-time employees includes a comprehensive health plan, flexible time off options, and savings and investment plans. Seasonal/temporary employees are not eligible for these benefits.
